Resolve Counselling

Gaylene Turner - BC Registered Clinical Counsellor

Supporting People for 20 Years

For over 20 years helping people has been my passion, through my counselling I’ve helped people recognize their strengths and nurtured their abilities to grow. I have also been through counselling and continue to do so, as I believe this is an important thin

I have a unique ability to connect with individuals and to help them feel comfortable, safe and at ease. As an empathetic listener, I have a sensitivity to tuning into the needs of others.

Being non-judgmental, open, and committed to authenticity are qualities I bring to the counselling process.

I practice with genuine gentleness, compassion, humour, acceptance, curiosity, creativity, and a sense of adventure so that people feel open to exploring their needs in a safe manner.

Guided by these core principles:

Person-centred

Strength-based

Trauma-informed

Response-based

Anti-oppressive

Feminist perspective

Existential perspective

“When time and space and change converge, we find Place.

We arrive in Place when we resolve things.

Place is peace of mind and understanding.

Place is knowledge of self.

Place is resolution.”
